Welcome to the Orange Project owned by Peter & Sylvana. One of the few bars in Corralejo that has just about everything. Internet access, food, live entertainment and of course booze.
Peter & Sylvana have had the bar since September 2006 and it really is one of the best places in town to go and chill out in.
There is a large indoor bar (no smoking) and an even bigger terrace at the front (smoking). Downstairs you will find seven workstations all using a fast broadband connection and up-stairs two laptop connections so you can surf the net and listen to the live music with a beer of course.
You can start the day with a full English (heart attack on a plate) as Peter is fond of calling it, a vegetarian a continental or even a bowl of his famous muesli, yoghurt and fresh fruit breakfast.
If you fancy a snack try a jacket potato or omelette or maybe even one of their burgers, if that sounds a bit much stick to a salad, roll or sandwich.
If you're a bit daring please try on of the German speciality dishes these include, currywurst in Sylvana's homemade sauce, bratwurst, frankfurter and of course frikadelle. You can have all this with freshly made potato salad and crusty bread, you will not be dissapointed i promise.
And if your still hungry after picking your way through all that try one of the Orange projects special ice cream desserts or maybe homemade rhubarb & apple crumble.
The kitchen closes at 1.30 am (that's the morning)
and if Sylvana's got it she'll cook it for you.
Whatever you try it will be good!!!
Peter plays live on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from 9.30pm till midnight.
If Sylvana is not too busy she'll belt out a few songs for you.
The two of them have been playing in various bars and venues around the island now for the best part of twelve years so they are very well known and extremly good.
Peter was one of the 2007 New Years Eve performers in the plaza.
(Personally i don't remember alot of that night, i think i had a bad pint somewhere).
Well that's the Orange Project all round an excellent place to go and chill out and enjoy yourselves and as i've said before if the locals go somewhere it's good quality and good value for money.
And you will always see locals in this bar.
